Carolyn
Larsen
She is
an author, actress and experienced speaker with a God-given passion
for ministering to women. She has spoken at conferences and retreats
around the United States, Canada and India. She is also a best-selling author with more than 30 books in print for children and adults. Some of her titles include:
Carolyn lives in Glen Ellyn, IL with her husband of nearly 28 years. She has three children, Cori (who is married to Jeff), Mallory (who will someday be a world-famous broadcaster) and Ryan (who lives in the north woods and hunts with a bow and arrow). Carolyn is a co-founder of the performing group, Flashpoints, five women who share a God-ignited passion to encourage women and girls to know God better through drama, creative movement, signing (NOT singing - believe me, you don't want us to sing!) and humor. Carolyn
Larsen loves to laugh, read good books, watch football games, meet friends
at Caribou for a cup of chai tea, watch old movie musicals, oh, and
chocolate . . . yes, chocolate goes with all of the above. However,
what Carolyn enjoys more than any of those other things (including the
chocolate) is encouraging other women in their faith walk. That encouragement
comes through Carolyn's honesty, transparency and humor regarding her
own struggles to be God's woman in today's world.
